By registering your details and participating in the Keep Australia Beautiful Week Score Points for the Environment challenge, you will automatically be entered into the Modern Solar $10,000 home improvement draw when you consent to having your details used by KABNA and its partners and fill out the mandatory field.

By completing the online entry details to participate in the Keep Australia Beautiful Score Points for the Environment challenge in the ‘At Home’ section, and confirming where prompted that you are happy to receive further information from KABNA and its partners, you will automatically be entered into the draw.
Terms & Conditions
1 Information on 'how to enter' and prizes form part of the conditions of entry.
2 The competition can also be entered direct at selected retail shops throughout NSW, VIC & SA.
3 Only one entry per household.
4 Winners must 'own' or be 'in the process of paying off' their own home or gain the
permission of 'the owner' in order to install any or all Modern products on the premises.
5 Entry is open to all residents of Australia except employees and immediate families of
the Promoter, associated companies and agencies. The Promoter the Modern Group of
Companies (NS075 084 847.
6 A total of 12 prizes are on offer. One per month for 12 months.
7 The competition commenced on Tuesday 1st January 2008, at 9am and closes on the
last day of each month with final entries closing on 31/12/08. The winners for each
month's draw will be the first valid entry drawn from a barrel containing all entries
received for that month at 12:00noon at the Promoter's premises on the first Friday of the
following month. Entries received for one month's draw will not roll over into subsequent
draws.

10 DRAW DATES: The first Friday of each 'following' month - on day of the draw

11 PUBLISHING DATES: The Second Saturday of each month: 09/02/08; 08/03/08;
12/04/08; 10/05/08; 14/06/08; 12/07/08; 09/08/08; 13/09/08; 11/10/08; 08/11/08;
13/12/08; 10/01/09 and advertised in the public notices section of the Sydney Morning
Herald in NSW, The Age in VIC and The Advertiser in SA.
12 Total potential prize pool value is $120,000. There is one prize draw per month. Each
winner can select either one of the following Modern home improvement prizes: (a) Mod
400 Domestic Security Alarm System (includes hardware and installation) worth $699.00
as well as any additional 'optional extras' from the security product range that can be
added to this system making up $10,000 worth of product and installation. (b) Security
Window Roller Shutter(s) up to the value of $10,000. Valuation of each shutter is
dependent on the type of window. As an example, a shutter for an average window with
manual operation including material, installation is valued at $1365.00. (c) Roof
Restoration / Metal Re Roofing / Guttering for the whole house up to the value of
$10,000. Valuation of a total restoration, re-roof or guttering is based on the size of job
and work required to meet the company’s guarantees on these products. (d) Sectional or
Roller Garage Door(s) up to the value of $10,000. Valuation of each door is dependent on
the type of door required. (e) Solar Energy back to grid system up to the value of $10,000
(f) OR a combination of the five products making up the value of $10,000. The winner
will be responsible for any costs exceeding $10,000. All prices are based on
recommended retail price list.
13 Prizes, including any unused portion, are not transferable, exchangeable or
redeemable for cash. Prizes must be redeemed within 6 months of draw date.
14 The judges' decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding
on each person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility is
accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for
any variation in the value of a prize.
15 Winners will be notified by telephone or mail where no phone is available. Names of
the winners of prizes over the value of $100 will be published in The Sydney Morning
Herald in NSW, The Age in VIC and The Advertiser in SA.
16 Entries remain the property of the promoter and cannot be returned. The Promoter
collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the
information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion.
By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the
Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and
publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the
entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. Entrants' personal information
may be disclosed to State lottery department and winners' names published as required
under the relevant lottery legislation. The entrant, in providing their telephone number,
agrees that they are the account holder (or their nominee) and their contact details can be
used for marketing purposes for an indefinite period. A request to access, update or
correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at their address set out above.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in
the event they are the winner (including photograph, film and/ or recording of the same)
in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of
promoting this competition (including any income), and promoting any products
manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
17 The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered
(including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is
suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which
cannot be excluded by law.
